Course consists of 24 hours of ONLINE SELF-PACED instruction to complete the classroom phase. It is recommended that students complete 2 hours per day for 12 days.

Adult 6-Hour Driver Education Course

If you are 18 to 24 years old it is now required that you take a 6 hour Adult Driver Education Course.
This course will include the Road Rules and Road Signs written tests at our facility.
You will not be required to take the written test at the DPS Office.

CPR Course

American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider/Heartsaver) CPR Course is offered at our Cazares McAllen 10th & Pecan (1700 N. 10th) location on various weekdays and Saturdays upon request. The course is approximately an hour and a half long.
At the completion of the course, class participants will receive an
e-card from the American Heart Association good for 2 years.
This course is excellent for healthcare providers, home health providers,
medical and dental assistants, teachers, coaches, child and adult daycare workers, lifeguards, babysitters and anyone else interested in learning CPR

TEENS: Each student taking the driving test must be at least 16 years old at the time of appointment and are required to have the following items:
1. Have held a learners license (driving permit) for a minimum of 6 months.
2. Valid Driving Permit
3. DE 964 Green Certificate from a driving school or parent taught program.
4. 30 Hour Driving Log (filled out by a parent or authorized adult 21 or older with a Texas Drivers License).
